Nelda Cales is a Board Member responsible for driving New Membership for the Raleigh Mortgage Bankers Association and an Area Sales Manager for Atlantic Bay Mortgage.  “Banking and Mortgage Lending alone have been my career choice for over 20 years. I have served in a leadership role over the past 15 years with large and small companies, finding my best success and career fit at Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group.”

Nelda says, “My biggest focus in helping the customer is geared toward education. When a client or agent entrusts me to work for them, it is not just a transaction. It is a process of reviewing the various aspects of their financial situation, life changes that may occur while having this mortgage, and what strategy will serve them in the future, as well. I also take time to discuss budgets to help a client improve their overall financial picture. Whether a client is ready to purchase today or in their future, I will assist them in optimizing their best credit situation to get in the best financial shape.

I have lived in eastern NC for the last 20+ years experiencing towns such as Greenville, Emerald Isle, and New Bern. My husband Randy and 11 year old Preston live in Apex, NC. I took up running 5 years ago and enjoy running and racing as a healthy hobby.”
