History of the Raleigh Mortgage Bankers Association
The Raleigh Mortgage Bankers Association was established in 1977 as the Mortgage Lenders Association with 13 members and Bob Law as its first president. In the 80s, the Association incorporated and became the Raleigh Mortgage Bankers Association with as many as 88 members.
In 1995, Raleigh Mortgage Bankers Association won the Association of the Year Award from Mortgage Bankers of the Carolinas (MBAC).
Through the Raleigh MBA’s dedication to community involvement, its ethical approach to mortgage banking and its devotion to educating its membership regarding industry trends, we excel at enriching the lives and careers of our numerous members and are proud to be in an industry that affects the lives of so many individuals and families.
